Renaissance, located in Inglewood, California, is a master plan community located on a former oil field next to Hollywood Park Race Tracks. It encompasses 375 single family detached homes. The site was designed with a neo-traditional concept with homes configured in clusters, paseos, and on conventional streets. The community design also incorporates New Urbanism design principles characterized by tree-lined parkways, pedestrian-friendly pathways, de-emphasis of garage doors facing the street, and distribution of open green space in the form of "small pocket parks," and linear green belts. This community features 2 tot-lots and a pool/recreation area. Renaissance offered 9 floor plans in total ranging from 1,525 square feet to 2650 square feet. The project was well received in a community that had not seen new housing stock in the last 25 years.
