The Lakes is a development located in Los Baños, California. The project consists of the entitlement of 151 acres, in Merced County, to be annexed into the City of Los Baños. Approximately 437 single-family, detached units, 134 town homes, a 9,500-square-foot commercial center, and an approximately 32.6-acre, man-made lake are contemplated for the project. At the forefront of the conceptual framework for The Lakes is the vision of a well-balanced and distinct lakeside community rooted in a sense of greater civic identity.
