Lawrence Baeck joined Watt in 2005 as a member of the Watt Realty Advisors team.  He is responsible for sourcing and managing real estate transactions as well as key advisory relationships with institutional and private investors.

Prior to joining Watt, Lawrence was Senior Vice President of JRK Asset Management where he was responsible for sourcing and managing Multifamily and Hospitality transactions.  In addition, he led JRK’s Multifamily Group with approximately 6,000 units and 100+ employees nationwide.  Prior to JRK Asset Management, he founded Zimcal, an acquisition advisory company, where in association with Pathway Ventures, he advised The Blackstone Group on a $400M+ transaction and sourced, assessed and negotiated strategic investments for Epson America.

Lawrence holds a B.A. degree in Quantitative Economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University Graduate School of Business.
