Marla Stalians joined Watt in May 2005 as Property Supervisor.  In August 2005, she was promoted to Director of Residential Housing, responsible for the operation of the company’s multi family portfolio.  An accomplished strategist with over 12 years of experience, her leadership, vision and expertise in business performance have driven notable growth. 

Before joining Watt, Marla was Director of Operations at Hunt Enterprises, overseeing acquisitions, dispositions and management of a multi family portfolio of 4000 units to include conventional, rent stabilized and section 8 properties.  In this capacity, she supervised three regional supervisors and 200 site staff, launching new training programs in fair housing and leasing skills as well as standardizing policies and procedures.

Marla is a Certified Property Manager signifying national recognition by the Institute of Real Estate Management for a proven track record of experience, integrity and technical knowledge and serves on the Legislative and Public Policy Committee.  She holds a California real estate license and earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California.  She is conversationally fluent in Spanish and has some knowledge of German, French, Dutch and Chinese.
