Erik Svensson joined Watt Companies in September 2006 as Senior Vice President and CFO.  He is responsible for supervising the financial affairs of the company, capital formation and allocation, financial reporting to shareholders and maintaining communications with commercial bankers and the investment community.  He also oversees the areas of Legal, Risk Management and Information Technology. 

Erik has 18 years of experience in financial and operational management.  Prior to joining Watt, he held the position of Deputy Chief Operating Officer (in addition to various other executive and management positions) for RREEF, served as Chief Financial Officer for The Swig Company, and worked for Deloitte. 

Erik received his B.S. in Finance from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and an M.B.A from Saint Mary’s College.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Treasury Professional, and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Association of Financial Professionals.
