Ryoko Takata is Watt’s senior financial officer.  She first joined the Watt team in 1979 as corporate controller, with senior financial management responsibility for several Watt entities.

During her tenure with Watt, her assignments have included approval responsibility, guidance and training for company controllers, accounting, insurance, tax, payroll, cash management, financial review, information technology and internal audit.

Ryoko received a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an M.B.A from UCLA’s Anderson School of Business.  She is a Certified Public Accountant.

Prior to joining Watt, Ryoko was an audit and tax manager with Ernst & Young and the corporate controller for the Mayer Group, a Southern California-headquartered real estate developer.
