Max Frank has been an integral part of Watt since January 2002, when he joined the Watt Communities team. As the Land Acquisition Manager, he is responsible for acquisition process in Southern California – a position he has occupied since December 2006. He has direct responsibility for growth opportunities in key target markets, coordination of due diligence, and creation of pro forma and cash flow analysis. He corroborates closely with the President and Executive Vice President to update the company’s strategic business plan.
Prior to being named Land Acquisition Manager, he was a Project Manager, running a variety of types and sized projects. His most noteworthy project was Renaissance, a 376 SFD Unit project in Inglewood. Project Management responsibilities included processing of all entitlements, preparation and monitoring environmental work plans, preparation and monitoring of budgets and schedules, and fulfillment of DRE requirements.
Max is a native to Southern California. He earned a bachelors degree in Policy, Planning, and Development, honors with an emphasis in Urban Planning and Development at the University of Southern California. While attending USC, he was also of a member of the water polo team.
He is currently a Member USC SPPD Alumni Professional Development Committee, The Rod Dedeaux Memorial Golf Classic Committee, Pi Alpha Alpha - National Honor Society for Public Affairs, and the Urban Land Institute.
